Fireworks at Marina Bay around MBS will be cancelled this year but neighborhood fireworks 2020 is on the list. Location for the neighbour fireworks from 2020 through to 2021 will be released at a later date. These are the neighbourhoods – Bedok, Bishan, Boon Lay, Geylang, Hougang, Jurong, Tampines, and Yew Tee, the Nanyang ward in West Coast GRC, Tiong Bahru and Woodlands- that can view in close proximity the 2020-2021 fireworks.

Enjoy a 3 minute light show at The Fullerton Hotel & the Merlion every 15 minutes with light show timing starting from 8pm to 10.30pm nightly, extended till 1145pm on 31 Dec New Year Eve.

This is a community effort by folks from the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). The artworks are displayed via light projection mapping on to the hotel’s façade and the merlion.
These are the contribution of student works from various institutions. Singapore Iconic landmarks at Marina Bay such as The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, the Merlion and ArtScience Museum will be the canvas for the creations.
The light shows will light up together with the whole of the Marina Bay precinct with the urban skyscrapers as the backdrop.
The artwork is inspired by the Stories from The City of Good. These 24 students created 17 artworks that is stitched together to form a seamless story. They come from several institutions such as LASALLE College of the Arts, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) and Singapore Institute of Technology – The Glasgow School of Art (SIT-GSA).
The nearest carpark to Share The Moment is at One Fullerton at $6 per entry after 6pm – midnight. If you need to use the washroom during the Light show, the nearest one is a public restroom next to this restaurant Aseana besides the overhead bridge or the pedestrian underpass near the Merlion.
Done watching the light show, ride or take a stroll and drink in the stars along the banks.
Some of the inspirations for these artworks on the merlion and facade are also drawn from our unsung Singapore heroes during these tough times, volunteers who hand sewn masks and shared food with the less fortunate.
Enjoy a peaceful and serene walk along the many hotels and restaurants around the Marina Bay skyscraper precinct. Indulge in a drink or two to wind down.
