We were here till late chilling out with Revel Bistro & Bar Live band Mandopop night. Live music is available every Wednesday to Saturday from 8 pm to 11.15pm. We are told that this is a digital Beer Pong Table in the East of Singapore. The game master will explain the rule of this beer pong with a $30 jar of ice cold beer at stake. The opposing teams will try their best to get a perfect shot of the ping pong balls into the opponent’s cups. A team is considered to have scored when the ping pong ball lands in the cups. The entire table lits up with a winning melody when you get a perfect shot. The losing team needs to down the beer in the cup. The team loses when the drinks in the cups are all bottomed up.

Asian Tacos are a twist on Korean gimbap & Japanese sushi – using a crispy nori as the shell, with vinegared sweet sushi rice, a variety of toppings and dressings. These are available in Smokin’ Salmon ($6.90) with smoked salmon, sushi rice, tobiko and mentaiko sauce, Una-nitas ($6.90) with unagi, sushi rice, tobiko and spring onion, Cluck-a-dilla ($5.90) with chicken karaage and El Moo Moo ($5.90) with Teriyaki beef. Our favourite is the Smokin’ Salmon tacos with chunks of sweet salmon interwoven with savoury mentaiko sauce.
Unwind with comfort food Spicy Seafood Aglio Olio ($12.90) pasta with al dente & spicy spaghetti topped with smoky crunchy prawns, squid, mussels. The spaghetti are tossed in a spicy base of chilli flakes and chilli padi for the extra depth of saline and heat kick.
A Revel Original – Revel Fish N’Chips ($15.90) made with a battered dory fillet lightly salted & dusted with pepper. Soft delicate fish encased with a fluffy bread coating with a mild crisp. Best enjoyed with tangy yuzu tartar sauce. These are served with thick fries & fresh garden salad sides for a balance refreshing experience. This is their Signature Fish ‘N Chips at Revel bistro & Bar, the texture is a unique original of Revel and is different from the mainstream Fish ‘N Chips.
Rojak Fish Skin ($7.90) – crispy fish skin tossed in gooey house made sweet prawn paste. Added julienned turnip, cucumber and pineapple chunks for a refreshing crunch. Dusted with roasted ground nuts and a hint of Makcik’s secret spicy belacan. This is one of the creative dishes created for Revel with a twist to our local rojak made only with fruit.
