It is $8++ for students, $10++ for adults, available for weekdays ( Monday to Friday excluding PH) from 12pm-6pm. Since most of the desserts are prepared in their island style show kitchen, you can literally see all the ingredients used in the desserts you ordered. We particularly enjoy the Chilled Mango sago cream with pomelo. It is prepared by pureeing fresh mango slices. The mango puree is then mixed with sago and some other ingredients. The passion fruit with green lemon drink is also made with precision over a scale to ensure consistency of the drink. It is made by juicing freshly cut green lemon into brewed tea. The green lemon is then hand pounded vigorously to release the flavours before adding the pulps of a passion fruit. This ice cold fruity tea is the perfect thirst quencher with lots of vitamin C and tang.
Their durian series desserts such as the durian egg puff and durian shaved ice are also on our favourite list for the durian pulp used in the desserts. This durian shaved ice was delivered to us from Jane Love Dessert to Chao K Party (Dhoby Ghaut outlet only) via Chao K Party room service for food. You can order Jane Love Dessert, Sichuan food and even grilled fish to be delivered to your karaoke room while you sing using Chao K Party room service for food order. Check with the staff for the menu of desserts and Sichuan food menu whilst you are there. Only food ordered via Chao K Party room service are allowed, no outside food are allowed within the premise.

Let’s start with some desserts at Jane Love Dessert to prepare our vocals for the karaoke session. Get the tong sui which are available in hot and cold versions. For $3.50 each, the red bean paste, the longan tang yuan and the ginger soup tang yuan are considered pretty reasonable prices and rare in a hotel atrium dessert place settings. If you love a rich thick soup that has visibly soften nutty red beans and chewy mocha balls, get the red bean paste.
For a more chewy bite with some nourishing soup base such as longan and ginger soup base, you can get their tang yuan series. These tang yuan are filled with either peanut paste or sesame paste. Since these are also boiled to each order, you can enjoy some really hot rice balls with molten fillings.
With the incredible sweltering weather nowadays, the answer to cool down would be a shaved ice. We tried the strawberry shaved ice which is topped with freshly cut strawberries on a hill of finely shaved layers of strawberry milk shaved ice. This strawberry shaved ice is milky, sweet and fruity. Shaved ice is also available in mango, cantaloupe, matcha, durian and chocolate.
These are cheese topped thick toast that we eyeballed and estimated to be around 2.5cm thick. These are available in classic cheese ($4.80), sausage cheese ($6.80), durian cheese toast ($8.8) and meat floss toast ($6.80) featured above. Our pick is the cheese meat floss toast with a chewy cheese pull, crispy toast and sweet umami meat floss. For durian lovers, go straight for the durian cheese toast.
Next, head upstairs to Chao K Party at Rendezvous Hotel for their December 2hrs karaoke promotion. What is a party without food? Get a feast of authentic Sichuan food delivered to your room with Chao K Party room service for food. These are ala carte order and not included in the 2hrs karaoke promotion. We are pleasantly surprised when they say we can even order a Sichuan grilled fish to enjoy inside the room. We definitely had to get the Sichuan Grilled fish and it did not disappoint. It is delicious, spicy and umami. We loved that it was kept piping hot throughout the feasting with a larger than normal warmer.
Generally, this whole feast of Sichuan food is pretty authentic and addictive. Here’s what we ordered, Sichuan mala grilled fish, spicy crawfish, charcoal bib skewer, grilled eggplant, grilled chives, steamed chicken in chilli sauce, chive pork dumpling, Chong Qing la zi ji, corn with salted egg and so much more Sichuan food.
You can also chill out with ala carte booze, soju, canned drinks and soda from their chiller next to the cashier. Just pick your drinks, pay and enjoy them in your karaoke room whilst you sing.
