This new outlet is an airy 2 storey Chinese Courtyard house with double volume space. The design is inspired by Siheyuan 四合院 surrounded by walls creating a cosy courtyard living space where you can dine in comfort with up to 26 people at one go. There are also festive wall posters with much food for thoughts.

They offer premium live seafood such as King crab, abalone, Dungeness crab, Soon hock fish, grouper fish and lobsters. You can also try other live seafood like eel, mantis prawns, bamboo clams, razor clams, lala, gong gong, flower crabs and so much more.

The fish fillet is coated with a red chilli pepper and the golden crimson hue sauce pairs well with the soft Chinese cabbage under it. This dish is made with live eels that they have in their seafood tanks. This is one of their signature Jianghu Cuisine which is believed to be “stamina food” for male to spice things up.

The crayfish are clean and split down the spine for ease of consumption. You just need to peel back the shells and dip it in the soft melty garlic sauce.

You can even get Singaporean’s favourite Hunan Stir-fry Pork ($16) that is served on a warmer. The pork are tender with peppery flavours from the green spiral chilli. The chilli and the stir fried pork are both the mains in this dish, you can enjoy the juicy pork coated with a caramelised soy flavours with the refreshing punch from the fresh green chilli peppers.

We also found Dough drop soup in seafood broth ($22) (Mian Ge Da).This is a soupy dish with silky translucent dough shaped like mini pillows. It is simmered in a seafood broth with chunks of squid, shrimps, laces of egg and sweet grassy chives. This is a comforting dish you can have late night that is lighter and without spicy flavours. This is a rare Chinese dish to find in Singapore, if you never try this before, do try it as carbs for a change.

eggStir-Fried Fried Egg with Vinegar ($12.80) is a bowl of fried eggs stacked like pancakes with molten yolks. The eggs are doused in a savoury soya sauce with a mild tang from the vinegar and nice aroma of scallion oil. Egg is moist and soft best enjoyed atop a bowl of steamed rice with the savoury soy sauce and lava like sweet sticky egg yolk mixed into the rice.
