Two Singapore police officers were assaulted by three men while on patrol at Block 14, Upper Boon Keng Road on Sunday night. One of them had a borken leg while the other had bruises. It all started when the two Singapore police officers approached a group of 3 men behaving strangly and a scuffle broke out. As a result one of the policeman fell down a flight of stairs from the 14th floor while the other was punched in the face.
Wacking a policeman in Singapore is a very serious offend and one can be jailed up to 10 years, fined and even caned. The Police arrested two of them and they will be charged in court today.

A part time worker was killed in a fire which broke out in a singapore factory, Hwa Seng Laundry, at Block 5042 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2 early this morning 4.20am. Soh Hock Huat,53, was already dead with burns on his body when the fireman came. 3 other workers, who were also in the building managed to escape the fire.

Source: The New Paper64 pupils and other teachers were in a school bus when it flipped on its side yesterday at 10.20am. It happened when the Singapore Bus was turning out of Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange.

Block 2 Geylang Serai has became another dangerous place overnite. A rag-and-bone man believed to be a garung guni man (someone who trades old goods for a living) lost his balance while carrying a small refrigerator. It dropped three storeys and hit the awning below before hitting a Malay woman in her 50s, a pillion rider on a motorbike.
Police have arrested that old man and the woman has received outpatient treatment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
