Jon was better except for e orginal song sung by both idols. This guy definately more potential than slyvester sim. Hardy’s vocals were excellent and almost perfect. However my vote will go to Jon because his voice is unususal, and i do think i will get bored after hearing hardy sing a few times but Jon no. This time round, Jon will win the hearts of singapore unlike sly.

Well the performance tonight was tremendously good. Both Hady and Jon did put their best foot forward to give the best.
Just a little comment here….if i was to judge both of them i would say hady deserves better as every songs he sang today really showed that he can really groove to the music….his performances were not boring and it seems more entertaining especially seeing him dances his way to the dancefloor while singing away and even the crowd joined in …but for jonathan, he sang very well too but he is too stagnant and he seems to only possessed the same kinda moves throughout every songs,,,,,,, it looks bit boring looking at it sometimes ,but all of you knows better who to vote.,……… my vote will sure go to hady for he put all his efforts and energy for every songs he sings and guess thats what an idol deserves

can someone plz tell the person who write the original “wings” song that it’s bad? it’s a freaking bad song and to think it has to sound inspirational, damn pathetic at the chorus. i don’t get it. you chose from thousands to end up with an idol to sing a crappy song and hail it like it was great, are you guys deaf or untalented? no wonder the last idol ended up endorsing for 7-11 and that’s about all we remember.

Fargal – Jon’s moves weren’t stagnant, in fact he is better than Hardy in stage appeal especially on song three when the crowds were joining in and jumping around, i was there and saw that. It was more fanatic than shown on televison. Vocals are one thing, liking the vocals are another. And Jon’s vocals appeals to deep rockers out there. No matter who wins, we can’t say who deserves to win because both have the plus and minus points lorrr…

LISTEN to the vidz again. Jon sounded flat in most parts of the songs. While I think Hady took the big step by taking the risk in showcasing his vocal range and he worked it out. During the bridge of the new song, I kinda feel that Jon sang just like as though he’s part of the choir. But for Hady, I don’t think he “cheated” but merely complementing the choir and making the bridge sounded very inspirational and lifting. That’s what most singers supposed to do. Not to sing the bridge as it is but to create variety. My vote goes to Hady.

well jay im just not agreeable on ya remarks………..i have to agree that both of them have potentials and each of them have their own style or delivering their musics…….they both have good vocals but how can you predict that jon can make it far compare to hady,,,,,, dont make it sound so bious,if you had to say that jon will make it far in hongkong, taiwan,japan,korea and etc are u trying to imply that jon can only target to audience who are chinese since u mention hady can make it only to indonesia ……….well think before u put out a statement…….u need not be an idol to be a good singer, there are many asians singers who have even make it far as to have their concerts not only within asia but in europe and so forth…….if they the x factor to be a good singer and deliver good message through their vocals when they sings, they can still prove to be a good singer in the eyes of most………

Well guys..Jon choice of songs are so monotous. There are no difference in style or performance..They are all the same…all low keyed songs…which is boring…On the other hand Hady tried 3 different genres of song and pulled it off. Would you buy Jon cd? Maybe not he sounded old fashioned…But Hady’s? Yeah R&B? Rock? Jazz? Hip-Hop? Hady can sing all those genres!!I must agree the “wings” song is pretty bad. The judges thought that Jon has unique voice..well yeah low husky voice and thats it. But Hady has it all….appeal and vocals..and furthermore he can get the crowd going….well done guys…But MY VOTE(no brainer)…….NEXT SI IDOL…HADY MIRZA……

Taufik- The reason why he’s only holding the CUP is due to the fact that others cannot see his abilities and capabilities of singing besides doing the minor advertising. The very fact shows that HE being the 1st IDOL did his only performance on our 41st National Day Parade. What about this year’s concert?? Where was he?? Definitely, not busy doing another advertisement?? How come, there’s no interviews with you but rather someone with Sly who can’t even speak proper English, sadly he was chosen to be the 2nd Idol.
Mathilda- Such a strong verbal vocals & she was voted out?? Why?? Strangely, I think S’poreans don’t understand the meaning of music. Looks are not the only thing that brings out a singer. It has to come from within the soul. She had a breath taking soul which could stir the living dead. She should have never been out of this show at all.
Jonathan Leong – He’s got the cute looks with a pleasant charm and smile. He looks more like a mummy’s boy. He did an excellent showbiz on “Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars”. It was really breathtaking. He was so emotional and as Flo says that whatever he sings is “Magic”.He’s got the moves and style too.
Hady- This boy is sent by Heaven surrounded by Angels haunted by Monsters (if you know what I mean). He’s so outstanding in his looks, moves, grooves, singing, tone, pitch is so much more stable than the others. He’s the one who will do S’pore proud. Look at him!! The way he sings shows clearly and positively that he’s the one with the clear cut vision. Ultimately, the beautiful song “Lagenda” was totally a knock out song, as quoted by Ken” The best performance of the season”. If the crude Judge has said that, how can anyone justify him not being the “Chosen One”. He so deserves it, he knows the notes, the highs and lows, and mostly he has the voice.

hady is better vocally but jon was more sincere.
i was a hady fan until he kept doing the same thing and I got bored of it. Hady has the better vocals of the two but the charisma and sincerity that jon portrays in his songs has won me over. I want jon to win though i think hady will win. SO JONATHAN FANS, GET UR FINGERS STARTED!!!!

i vote for hady ..he mite not have the charisma like jon bt he is so vocally awesome ..no one can deny ..even ken lim says that ..he’s versatile and can sing any genre ..fast,slow,whatever !!if you realise,jon only sing slow slow songs ..and the judges are being unfair too ..dey gave jon de song tt suited his voice bt its a slow song ..unfortunately,he doesnt bring it well ..as for hady ,de judges gave him a difficult song and expect him to be off tune or smth ..but he did great ..as usual ..theres nth wrong with his vocals coz its already so perfect ..if u say hady cant sing de second song he sang ytd,can u imagine jon singing it?i think it’ll be worst ..nvm tt ..do u want spore to be laughed at at world idol?no ,we dont ..we want other countries to think “wow!!singaporeans really have talent..this is great ..he can go far ..” ..certainly this is a SINGING competition NOT CHARISMA competition ..i am nt being bias here ..and for those hu thinks that last yr a malay won and therefore this yr its de chinese turn to win,de person is not being fair because he only is like giving de other race a chance ..anyway, may the best man win !!good luck hady !!lurve ya !! hady deserves to win. he sang better last night. but if both of them are coming out with albums, i’ll definately get jon’s. jon’s got that kind of voice that knocks me off my feet, but he didnt realise it to his potential last night. whereas hady was simply amazing last night.. but.. i voted for jon anyway.. both are alrdy winners in their ways.. i can still hear jon singing wherever you will go by the calling.. omgg.. that voice

totally agreed with jojo there……. we have all kinda races living in this city of singapore…..whether its chinese, malay,indian or eurasian it doesnt matter……. we need not pick on a particular race as everyone have their own sets of talents……. we all have our own views on both hady and jonathan but well theres always a winner and a loser in a competition but that does not mean we need to look down on ppl coz of their races…….not a right way of thinking……..all i can say jon and hady did their best to get into the finals……..even though hady is the winner likewise jonathan is also good as hady, just that each of have their own style of delivering their music to their audiences……. still i bet we all enjoyed watching their performance on stage. just hope that some of you dont be so racist and try to treat everyone equally……..to hady and jon…..you guys did well and most importantly you both make it to the top.thumbs up!!!

it’s true that hady challenges himself with songs by top artistes. furthermore, all the judges’s comments about him holding back… i think in the finals he unleashed his potential… though i don’t think it’s professionably advisable to be holding back in every episode. compare this to mathilda, she got criticised for showing off instead. sigh.

i think to embrace freedom of speech, we need to:
1) restrain ourselves a bit
2) know that arguments, swearing and insults are supposed to be fun and part of the process. but 1.
3) kids and immature statements may pop up from time to time because it’s fun for some to vandalise a forum.
4) take it easy. we are talking kok only.

From the beginning we all know hady could win. But if the judges keep saying that hady will win, the show could become boring and predictable. There has to be some form of competition. They need the underdog. They need to say nice things abt the rest to make the whole show interesting. And most importantly to keep the votes coming.
