Who is better? Jerry Ong or Joakim? My vote goes to Jerry Ong. Let’s take a look at Jerry Ong’s song during last year Singapore idol.

    JERRY ONG! joakim seriously can’t carry a song at all.. I know i disliked Jerry Ong but now, it’s nothing compared to what i feel for joakim. Joakim should really be at least in the bottom 3 the next round, otherwise SI is really doomed. Singaporeans will be known for being tone-deaf.

    as much as i dislike jerry ong..i think he still sings better than joakim. only to joakim. well, in fact, i think joakim’s like the clone of jerry one this season. only……….worst!

    Syafiqahh……….tz is serious, u want someone to represent Singapore and we know that people like Joakim and Paul cannot make it. We don’t want Singapore Idiot, unless u are one of them.

    Joakim is just too bloody arrogant. he never shows any respect to the judges,always try to differ their opinion when kena critisize. Remember what he says to Dick on wednesday ? He is a disgrace to SI. Join the circus la Joakim if u like dancing like a monkey and singing out of tune. Can Singaporeans stop voting this xialan guy next week.
    By the way, I dun agree that Paul can’t make it. In fact I think he is one of the better ones. Sorry different opinion i guess. but Joakim sux to the max, both personality n voice. For me even his looks, xialan bin.

    I think that he may be cute, but wif jerry ong he is worse. i think he does not deserve to come into this stage. I think that of so many people who r ousted, let me make a list:
    Ousted becos of being not up to their standard: Norman, Gayle, Jay, Rahimah
    Ousted cos they r very weak : Emilee, Nurul
    Ousted for no reason : Mathilda(shes very good in her performances)
    In for nothing : Joakim(every round), Paul sometimes
    and so, i think that in the piano show, his performances distracted the audience and singapore, and he made it top 12.

    Later, he slowly revealed his bad singing, even florence who loves him thinks he should be out. ONly ja dun think so…singapore dun think so…. he has one of the weakest vocals, i tink he oso lose out to emillee and nurul.worse thing he did not improve… probably he tinks he can get in everytime. Now he in top 5! top 5 best singer in singaporeans! can u imagine?

    even if he become singapore idol, he will never make it in the singing industry. he’s just there to let people fail. Like wise, people ousted before him may get more sucessful. He’s a joke to singapore idol~

    I think i can sing better!

    I find it a pain to WATCH Jerry Ong performing seriously. Singing as BAD as Joakim.

    Joakim sings very flatly. Apain to hear, not a pain to watch.

    I think Singapore should stop slamming him.

    Direct your hatred to the much intended parties.

    If the judges didnt put him thru to the top 28 in the first place, he wont even be on the SIngapore Idol stage. Imagine how many more deserving contestants who they can put thru but they choose Joakim. So no point slamming Joakim when you should be slamming the judges instead. ;)

    Joakim’s not a singer, but still an entertainer. He’s got the looks and personality. Wrong competition. Especially in Singapore Idol. That’s about it. :D

    Solution to problem: When it’s Joakim’s turn to sing, mute your TV so you can watch the little monkey perform on stage and you won’t complain about his singing.
