Joakim destoryed Mathilda in Singapore Idol
Singapore idol is so fake when they make the two groups. They group the poor ones together and the better ones together. The poor ones will get through. Joakim went through again.
It is their marketing trick. I do not believe the better singers have the lowest votes. They purposely group the best singers with the loser together every thursday. This is encourage their supporters to vote MORE. This trick is used in american idol too. Pretty lame.
Latest update – Mathilda just got voted out. Being a good singer is useless in this competition when she cant attract the public. Her facial expression might have given singaporeans a ‘proud’ feeling.

After watching the disgusting show tonight and malthida eliminated out, i realise singapore should forget hosting Singapore Idol in future but have SINGAPORE IDIOTS instead!!!! You only put yourself into disgrace and shame with your bad taste and poor judgement and have to reminded again and again to vote for a good singer. Come on you idiots you dont even understand what Singapore Idol is all about and are you people trying to show the world that you decided an idiot for a Singapore Idol?. If such no point having those judges around, you can pick anyone even one from Geylang to be an idol. Week after week i am disappointed to see those lousy ones in the safe group and the good ones sent home. In fact the show neednt continue, just name Hady the next Idol and ‘close shop’. The judges dont even have to be present afterall the idiots of singapore seem to be better ‘judges’ now. Boooooo to you Singaporeans!

Mathilda, you are ‘killed’ tonight not because you are no good but majority of singapore consists of idiots who knows NUTS!!!!! It’s really unfair and the judges should make a stand here to put Mathilda back otherwise no point carrying on the show anymore.
Which recording co would want to sign contract with any idol like Joakim, Nurul or Jasmine who best fits to do the jingles for KFC, McDonald, Pizz Huts etc

i’ve got mates here who dont follow this season’s SI but have heard Mathilda sang in a trailer or two, and they’re seriously as perplexed as to how in the flaming bludgin world can she be voted off so early into the competition……

Come on lar… we have to face with the hush reality that the remaining idols are all so… YOUNG!! (except Jon and Hady). So you want me to believe that a “18+” year old (go to singapore idol.com and get the hint on who i am referring to)will became my IDOL??!! Oh goodness.
Now that my powerhouse is no longer in the competition, i can offically not Watch SI!! haha! this is so liberating…
One of the reasons i feel that mathilda is out is because we mature fellows cannot be bothered anymore since we know that ‘MONKEYS’ and ‘POTATO SAG’ is going to be in the finals. oH how disasterous.

I am stil very pissed off with the Singapore Idol show. Not only do i feel cheated, i was actually ridiculed by fellow uni mates who commented, My God, that’s your Singapore standard?? And why did the Singapore Idol Mathilda leave the show? Are you guys looking for another William Hung alike or someone to represent Mcdonalds? Mike , dont waste your time. I felt like an idiot too and so from now, wont watch it anymore. Malu lah!
Wont be surprised that to appease the “souls of the hungry ghosts of singapore”, joakim may turn out the Next Singapore Idiot, Nurul, Jasmine, Paul, Jonathan and finally Hady whom I guess will be eliminated out for being just next to Mathilda as monkeys, cuties, sweeties and clowns are what the hungry ghosts are looking for!.!!!!!!!!!!!.
Finally Simon Fuller should withdraw Singapore’s right to the show, afterall they are using this opportunity to create more money making to get more ppl to vote,vote vote and vote, even ah beng can be the next Idol win, so keep on voting. That’s what Singapore Idol is all about now. So those who can really sing, forget about joining the long queque to participate in future, better sleep at home, let those who can croak be a singapore clown! dont waste your efforts cos the better you are the fastest you have to leave just like the snap of the finger.

Joakim is a complete joke .. so is singapore idle for that matter. How does someone with his singing abilities made it through so many rounds, and there are actually people that vote for him is quite astonishing..i hope his journey ends soon cause even my mom is fed up with his singing..
if singaporeans want to vote a talentless bum like him base solely on looks.. we should just start a singapore boy boy compeition..

Ya,I dont dare admit i’m a singaporean now after my friends watched the show. It only brings disgrace and more embarassment to the nation if the show continues. I feel the judges should just call it QUITS and walk out of the show altogether since majority view the judges as non professional and taking judgement in their own hands.

Joakim, if you happen to be the next Idol, you must first thank the audience, the less smart singaporeans with non musical sense, the kids (kurang ajar from their parents who knows nothing but waste money voting without brains), Gurmit , Daniel and the poor 4 judges who had wasted much efforts with their professionalism and also their patience to put up with your monkey acts thro your Idol journey. Just be a gentleman, before you step out of stage, announce that there was some technical error or something and the Idol crown should ideally go to none other than MATHILDA or HADY. With that, at least you will gain some respect without rotten eggs thrown at you if ever do commercials for 711 or jungles for other fast food companies. That’s what Taufik Batisah good at too!

There’s only 1 good and talented singer left and that’s obviously Hady but i wont be surprised he’ll be voted out by this thurs leaving all the useless to perform monkey acts. Better watch them in the zoo and save all the efforts of the poor judges. Forget abt Singapore Idol and those stupid voting system (how accurate can they be when they are not made known openly). The first song Joakim chose is “Geek in Pink”, which is not easy to sing. If he can carry that tune, it meana he got the musical sensibility to deliver that. What is wrong with him is in fact, he’s just a young boy and his voice is still quite imature, which is why you call him “cute”. He’s good at the piano and he is probably musical enuf to carry pretty complicated tunes in his head but he should “listen to how he sing” and focus on the tone, which often is not sonorous enuf. He tends to skimp through his notes and ‘float around’. He needs to develop “sureness” in his voice, more tone will make it right. He basically has a nice voice that can be developed. He needs to develop a ear for detail and style when listening to music, and that should be not too hard for someone whose enthusiastic in music, given time. Good luck Joakim. But Hady will win Idol while you win popularity for now. (Hey, not bad you know..)

Actually after some thought I think our dear judges are the clowns because they are the ones who put them in the first place and if Ken really feel that paul and Joakim cant sing than why the hell did he is select them??????????????????????

The judges are not clowns. They decided to let Joakim in is because they thought he have potential. They thought that after having weekly trainings from professional vocalist, he may improve. But too bad he did not. So it is not the judges fault. Especially Ken. He make good comments if you know about music enough.
And yes Joakim cant sing, but even I can see that he have potential IF he knows how to use his vocals correctly.
One thing about Singapore Idol audiences and viewers, everyone thinks that they know alot about music and singing techniques. They always think the judges comments are crap just because to normal ears, they sound good. It takes a special ear to hear every little tones and tunes in the singing and a professional to know what’s a good singing technique is. And that person is Ken.

I dont really watch Singapore Idol .. i dont knw much too. but i feel Mathilda sld nvr had been voted out. Her singing is so great. Shes got heavenly voice. Both in Jazz and Rock. Hope she gets better Opportunities else where. All the best Mathilda
