Singaporean killed himself for having small Penis
Last month, a 18 year old jc student killed himself. He thought his penis was too small despite his doctor telling him that his size was normal.
He was suffering from what we call body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). BDD is a mental disorder in which a normal-appearing person is either preoccupied with some imagined defect in appearance or is overly concerned about some very slight physical.
Just today, the newpaper reported that a 1.9m guy is suffering from such illness. He punches the wall whenever he found out that he has grown taller again. He could not stand people gossiping about his height. Everyday he will measure his own height a dozen times and avoid looking at mirrors in public place.
BBD sufferers will suffer a lack of self-confidence. I see them no different from someone having a depression. Dont care what other people say! Small penis so what! Too short so what! Too ugly so what!

is BBD or BDD ?
JC ppl having alot of problems due to study stress or be coz of their reputation(FACE)is importian. reasons y ? there maybe 101reasons to ans that.

It’s BDD. It’s a psychological illness and it’s not as simple as someone lacking self-confidence, although they are definitely related. In fact, BDD is more the cause of the lack of self-confidence rather than the result consequence of it.
To us, they might seem stupid, but the truth is that without psychiatric help, their ‘imaginery flaws’ are what they see when they look in the mirror, literally. If it’s just something they perceive or think about, perhaps it would be easier for them to live with it, but imagine looking in the mirror and find an empty hole where your nose should be, or worms growing out of your acne-infested face.
I don’t think they are stupid. They are just unlucky to not be heard and thus not being able to get help.

I think it has got nothing to do with one’s intellect. They behave like this because they are ill. They just need to seek help.
