Singapore Students are Childish
‘People from poly should know their place.’ said one JC student.
I read this on the new paper and it is about singapore video gamers. There is a Polytechnic vs Junior college war going on with online singapore gamers. JC students are insulting the poly students as stupid and mindless while the poly students counterback that JC students have no logical thinking and only memorise books.
The war started when a poly student Kill-Steal a jc student. In gaming, when you fight a creature, you only get credit or gold when you give it the FINAL BLOW. So to kill-steal, it means that you wait for someone to weaken the monster and then you give the monster the last hit/ final blow to killed it. So that guy did all the hardwork and you just go and killed it to claim credit. We call this act – Kill Steal.
So are JC more intelligent than Poly students? Doubt so. I worked with people with Masters and first class honours crap. They are all stupid. So does mean all of them? How do we measure intelligence? Education?
In this new world, intelligence is measured by your ability to make money. Im richer than you so im smarter than you. Case close. Ok whatever. Its your view.

the game is maplestory, if i am not wrong.However it is so very wrong and childish to call poly students stupid.

JC students always ma jiam nothing to do like tat, unless they read books like mad ppl. if JC students too free or their studies sux, they will find trouble wif other ppl eg: poly, ite, sec sch ppl…

Hey skykiller, ur comment seems ”interesting”. If a person(including jc students) is too free, why do they choose to find trouble? Come on , we are living in a modern age where life is full of choices.Beside, a civilised person would be relunctant to seek for its own funeral because he knows that there is so many things that he can do , rather than seeking trouble. Moreover, if a person is weak in his/her study, wont they spend the time on intensive revision?

#8, not everyone will think the same way as you did. there are people not intrested in studies therefore they are only most likely care about jobs. and there is alot of free time for them to do nothing.
