Singapore Dog Bites Human
Singapore dog can be dangerous. At Bukit Timah, Madam Yue Mee Harn was biten by her neighbour’s dog. When her neighbour’s maid open their house gate, her neighbour’s dog, Rocky, went straight towards her and bite her hand. She was warded and the hospital bill came up to $20k.
The dog’s owner felt gulity and sent bouquet of flowers with a written note ‘thousand apologies’. But it was no use as the victim want a compensation for her hospital bill. The dog’s owner say she could not afford to compensate for the bill and hence the victim reported to the police.
As a result, the dog owner, Madam Koo was fined $3,500 and ordered to pay the victim $2000 as compensation, a far cry from the total hospital bill.
The dog’s owner live in a big house and cannot afford $20k? What a joke.
