Foreigners bring Drugs to Singaporeans
2 Singaporeans and 4 foreigners were caught at Far East Shopping Centre on suspicion of taking drugs. These groups of teenagers were often found wondering around the stairs at the top floor. This aroused the suspicions of the security personnel who made a surprise check on them. What the security guard found was cigarettes containing tobacco which are green in colour. Obviously, it is drugs. It seems that most drug cases in Singapore have the involvement of foreigners. Lets take a look at the past record of foreigners involved in drug cases :

Year 2002
A former German School student was sentenced to 5 years.
Year 2004
23 foreign expats were arrested and charged in relation to cocaine. One of them is the former editor of high-society magazine Singapore Tatler and he was given 2 years.
Year 2005
5 foreign expats were arrested.
It seems like Singapore teenagers are taking drugs because of the foreigners. So are foreigners the one to blame? I would like to say a big NO. You are responsible for your own actions. Many drug takers are usually involved in drugs because of the kind of group they are in. Teenagers are easily manipulated because most of them are being taught how to think and understand what true values are. Parents are largely to blame for the lack of communications in understanding their children and the friends they hang out with.
