Singapore Lottery Robbed off $3000 Toto AngPo

Armed with a real gun and masked, he snatched a bag of lottery takings worth of $3,000 from Madam Poh at Sun Plaza last night, 9pm. He fired off a shot while fleeing from a security guard. The security guard felt insulted cos he thought the robber fired blanks at him and gave chase.
With the help of a passer-by, the 59 year old unemployed chinese robber was brought down. The robber have planned for the past few days by studying the operation of the lottery outlet and strike yesterday when Madam Poh took the day’s taking to her office.
This Singaporean is pretty pathetic. Using a gun to rob $3000 = crazy. He must have thought the bag contains much more. In Singapore, if one is convicted of armed robbery, he could be jailed for up to 14 years and caned. One can even face death penalty for unlawful discharge of a firearm.
