Nor Azizah Abdul Aziz became the first woman in Singapore to be convicted under the GST (Goods and Services Tax) Act. As a manager of a singapore company, TradeOne, she made 9 false statement from 15 Sep 03 to 31 Aug 04, and got tax refunds of $54,605.
She pleaded guilty to five charges and will be sentenced on February 7.
