Block 2 Geylang Serai has became another dangerous place overnite. A rag-and-bone man believed to be a garung guni man (someone who trades old goods for a living) lost his balance while carrying a small refrigerator. It dropped three storeys and hit the awning below before hitting a Malay woman in her 50s, a pillion rider on a motorbike.
Police have arrested that old man and the woman has received outpatient treatment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Young Singaporeans are getting out of hand. Many young educated Singaporeans are living a lifestyle that they cant afford. Having a string of credit cards and incuring huge debts are the norm now. Things are made worst when car prices are falling. Without thinking or planning, they bought their dream car just to show off to their friends. I think they are Pathetic.

Tan Ah Lek, a Marsiling resident, was recovering at home from her operation but was shock to see someone smashing her windows. She felt threatened and was advised by the police to install CCTV camera. Instead of finding the window smasher..she found out something more shocking.

The Nudist, a salesman, in his 30s was found showing off his xxx in Woodlands. What he did not know was that police officers are watching him while he perform his stun. He was caught an hour later at 7.30am. If he is charged for committing an obscene act, he can be jailed up to three months and fined.

Lets guess who is the biggest winner? No doubt, TT Durai (Thambirajah Thamadurai), the former CEO of NKF (National Kidney Foundation) is the champion. So if you have no idea who is Durai, he is a law degree gradate that has worked for the government legal service for six years until 1977. He started as a volunteer for NKF and later converted to full time.
So what are the things that happened at NKF that caused public outcry.

On 14 January, 4 singapore commandos was found guilty of causing the death of an Singapore National Service man. They were given two and nine months in jail sentence.Second Sergeant Hu En Huai, 19, died during a combat survival training course on Pulau Tekong last August.
