Singapore Company hate Singapore Male Reservist, they want Foreigners

I found this photo somewhere in the hardwarezone forum. Pretty interesting to see some singapore male voicing out their anger when looking for a job. I believe this is somewhere near the Ang Mo Kio Mrt station. It wrote ‘Jobs for Foreigner. N.S for S’poreans’.
What is NS?
NS= National Service, whereby any singapore male will have to serve the singapore army/ other military service for 2years actively after the age of 18. Even after serving this 2 years term, a Singapore male become a Reservist and will be called back to the military occasionally for training for at least the next 10 years depending on his rank. We call this calling back.
It seems like from this angered singapore male, he is having a tough time finding a job. Singapore companies are more willing to hire foreigners then local singapore male who need to commit to NS. This theory is never applicable in the public sector, maybe the private sector. I held jobs in private sectors and private sectors before and i personally havent came across such bias treatment. The most foriegn talent i have seen is during my job at a Singapore Hotel, other than that job i see all singapore males and malaysian males.
If a company cant afford their employee to go on NS, it only means one thing, they are out of manpower. A good company will have plan in place for those going for NS and having someone to cover him, just like one going for long term leave. I see no reason why companies dont hire singapore male. They seems to be stronger for work after their reservist
